21ST LANCERS

The Anne SK Brown Military Collection held at the Brown University Library, Rhone Island, USA is in possession of an original watercolour signed RCW and with the date ‘98’. Written in ink at the bottom of the image are the words, ‘21st Lancers at Omdurman, 1898 by R Caton Woodville.’
