If you’re thinking that this is a pretty big topic to cover in one Images of War series book you’d be right. Its split into three sections, covering fighting in the West in 1940, the East from 1941-1943 and then both fronts as the Allies advanced from 1943-1945. As such, it’s really a very general overview, with obviously the photos leading the way. A pity then that the paper quality isn’t great so the reproduction isn’t very good.
