Multi-shot flintlock pistols come in a vast range of prices and ease of finding. Double-barrelled pocket pistols from the late 18th century are reasonably common in specialist auctions and dealers, from around £250 to £1,000 depending on quality and condition (as always). A fine cased sidelock double-barrelled pistol by a top maker with all or most of its tools could sell for £8,000; with luck a perfectly acceptable example could be found for between £3,000 and £5,000.
