COLLECTING THE NORD

Items from the Division do come up for auction, especially at houses such as Ratisbon’s but expect to pay top prices as they are in demand. An SS mens M43 Tunic Nord Division was sold by Henry`s Military Collectibles for $7,900 recently. The tunic had been combat worn and seen service. It conforms to every aspect of an original SS tunic. Note the Tank Destroyer badge mounted above the Eidelweiss badge, possibly indicating that the original wearer was from the 6 Panzerjager Battalion. Other items to collect include Soldbuch and helmets. A Waffen-SS M40 helmet belonging to the Nord Division would cost about about £1,000.
