Fiona wins Drumadoon at Corrie
Arran Ladies’ Golf Union
Fifteen ladies played in the Drumadoon at Corrie on Sunday October 28 in glorious weather. The course was in excellent condition, so huge thanks to Euan McKinnon for his great work.
The winner was Fiona Henderson with a score of 65 BIH from Isabel McDonald also on 65. Susan Butchard won scratch with a creditable 79. A big thank you to Fran and Ian for the tasty sandwiches.

Sunday October 28, sweep, 10 played in this yellow tees’ sweep on a beautiful early winter’s morning. The course was in great shape and most golfers took advantage.
Scoring was generally good but captain Wolfi Kroner continued his recent form with a stunning net 57 to win by two from David Blair’s 59. 1 Wolfi Kroner 16, 57, 2 David Blair 15, 59, 3 Jamie Macpherson 5, 61 and lowest gross. Magic twos: Stan Rainey @4th, Gus Macleod @15th. The sweep was non counting for handicap purposes.
