Sir, This is a note found in Sannox public toilet by Elma Stevenson

‘My husband and I have been coming to Arran for years, firstly with tents and bikes, then a motorhome and now a small campervan.

‘It’s a beautiful island with a wonderful feel and an amazing sense of community. These toilets are testament to that! We recently read that Sannox (North) is now community owned and as such we have left a donation for these toilets and also to the community fund. We are parking up at Sannox (North) and wanted to give something back to you community.’
