Party time around the island

-

It was a Christmas party to remember for the 25 children of Corrie who celebrated their village party having the full run of the Corrie Hotel as their new venue on Saturday December 22.

Having the freedom to roam and space to play, the children danced and ate in the main hall while some of the younger children relaxed in the reception area on comfortable chairs with their parents. On offer for the youngsters was face painting, music and activities, and in another room a grotto had been set up as a winter wonderland in preparation for a special visitor.

Santa arrived with the loud ringing of a bell and the children excitedly made their way to the grotto where each one of them got to meet and speak to Santa, and receive a special gift. The following day it was the turn of the children of the Northend to enjoy their party held in the Lochranza Field Centre.

Games and food and drink were followed by the arrival of Santa, who gave each of the children a personal gift.
