Ar­drossan ferry dis­rup­tion

Pas­sen­gers on the Brod­ick to Ar­drossan ferry ser­vice face dis­rup­tion this month due to pre­lim­i­nary de­vel­op­ment works at Ar­drossan Har­bour.

Dur­ing the Cale­do­nian Isles an­nual re­fit, foot pas­sen­gers will be board­ing the He­bridean Isles and the Isle of Ar­ran via the car deck. How­ever the works are due to be com­pleted by Jan­uary 28 when nor­mal ser­vice is ex­pected to be re­sumed on the Ar­ran berth.

The work in­volves drilling bore holes, trial pits and tak­ing var­i­ous scans across the Ar­ran berth, Ir­ish berth and Winton pier which are es­ti­mated to last un­til the end of Fe­bru­ary.
