WELCOME TO #GRINDURO SCOTLAND

-

Hey, Friend Fàilte gu Grinduro Alba! If Gaelic isn’t your native tongue, we’d like to join the locals in saying “Welcome to Grinduro Scotland!” We’re glad you’re here. The Isle of Arran is a magical place and a visitor’s paradise. From the lush forest and breathtaking beaches, to glorious castles and friendly locals, you’ve arrived at a place that’s captured the hearts of many – including the Irish, Viking invaders, the Celts, the English and more – dating back thousands of years. Over the course of the next few days you’ll have a rare and special view of this wonderful historic land, as the Grinduro course weaves and rolls through villages and over fields, along the coastline and stunning vistas that will leave you breathless – even when you’re not in the saddle. You’re here because you wanted to experience Grinduro – as a racer, a volunteer, a friend, supporter or a contributor. Regardless of why you’re here or where you came from, when you’re here, you’re one of us and together to make Grinduro the most unique race/festival around. So we’d like to say THANK YOU to all of you! We also owe a tip of the cap to the amazing crew at Focal Events; our local connections at Visit Arran and the Arran Trust; our host brand Canyon Bicycles; Grinduro’s global supporting sponsors: Giro, Fabric, Rapha and Maxxis. Thanks also to The Bicycle Academy, Arran Gin Company and the Arran Distillery, the Pier Head Tavern, as well as Clif Bar, Chamois Buttr and Weldtite, and finally thanks to the Arran Banner for helping get this stack of ink and paper into your hands. Final words: Be good to each other, have fun and enjoy the Isle and the ride. We’ll see you at the party!
