SEPTEMBER WEEKEND ON ARRAN

25th - 28th September 2020

-

WELCOME

September weekend on Arran has a great deal to offer: stunning scenery, great places to stay, good food and drink and many places to visit. We all know that 2020 has been a challenging year and everyone is having to abide by new government restrictions in order to keep safe and keep others safe. However, a back-yard break on beautiful Arran is the perfect tonic for a long weekend and the welcome is both warm and safe. There is Brodick Castle and Country Park, the Heritage Museum and our two distilleries at Lochranza and Lagg, operating pretty much as normal. If it is the outdoor life you prefer then there is equally as much on offer, from low level to high level walking, cycling and kayaking and not forgetting Scotland’s ‘Big Five’golden eagles, otters, grey seals, red squirrels and red deer, Arran has them all. If it is something more leisurely that you seek, then why not treat yourself to a relaxing spa treatment at Auchrannie, a sumptuous meal in one of the many restaurants, delicious home baking or classic cocktails. Arran has an array of bespoke shopping if you fancy a bit of retail therapy, from clothing - outdoor or fashion, jewellery and pottery to delicious local produce. Whatever you are looking for to help you unwind this weekend, you will find it right here on Arran.
