Arran Library re-opens to public

-

Arran Library in Brodick has re-opened to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 4pm.

Staff have an extensive cleaning schedule in place and are requesting visitor details for Test and Trace, along with a one-way entry and exit system to ensure social distancing.

Any customers not wishing to visit the library can still use the call and collect system.

Bookbug will continue on Friday mornings at 11am, weather permitting, however, there will be limited access to PCs. The printing and photocopying service will still be available and the mobile library van is also anticipated to return to service soon.

Library assistant Nickey Summer said: ‘We look forward to seeing all our regular, and maybe some new, borrowers soon.’

Visitors are requested to sanitise their hands regularly, wear a face mask, unless exempt, follow the physical distancing markers throughout the library and to keep their visit as brief as possible.
