Author returns to island for launch of latest Arran crime novels

-

Author Miller Caldwell has published the two books which complete his trilogy of Arran crime books after Murders at Blackwaterfoot was published at the start of the summer, writes Hugh Boag.

His new books Dementia Adventure and Seaweed in My Hair have been published as one volume and the Dumfries author will be back on Arran next week for a book signing. He will be at the Harbour Shop in Blackwaterfoot from 2-5pm on Monday September 13, where all three books will be on sale.

Dementia Adventure tells the story of retired postman Ronnie Jackson who has dementia. Reviewer Cyril Barnett said: ‘What I liked about Dementia Adventure is that it educates about dementia and how sufferers live with confused minds. It is also an exciting and adventurous ramble around the island of Arran.’

Seaweed in My Hair is described as ‘a heart-warming story based on lovely Arran’.

Miller, who has published a number of books, is now working on his fourth Arranbased novel entitled Ruffled Feathers at Blackwaterfoot.

The books are published by Beul Aithris Publishing and are available on Miller’s website www.millercaldwell.com
