UHI Argyll: Where Learning Means More

-

UHI Argyll has changed we can give you access to more courses, more ways to study, and more individual support than you realise. Join us for our Open Day on Wednesday 1st June to find out what opportunities are available, right here on your doorstep.

Our centres will be open from 12 noon – 7pm. Come along to meet our friendly staff, take a look at our facilities and discover the courses we have on offer. We have a range of in person and online events, including a variety of fun, interactive taster sessions to give you a flavour for the different subject areas you can study with us.

TASTER SESSIONS

The taster lessons include a computer games design workshop, an introduction to nursing for adult returners considering the SWAP Access to Nursing course, an interactive childhood practice session, where you’ll use everyday objects to promote learning and development in young children, and a business session which will explore how our courses link to the real world. You can also find out what it’s really like to study at UHI Argyll at our ‘What to Expect’ session, get advice on the types of learning support available, and learn about the different funding options we offer to help you throughout your studies.

Think college might be an option for someone you know? Whether you are a parent, carer, or teacher in the local area, we’re extending the invite to you to come and see what we’re all about.

ONLINE EVENTS

Our online events can be accessed from your local centre, or from home if you can’t make it in person on the day. Advance booking is required for all events, and with limited places at some of our sessions we recommend booking early so you don’t miss out. For further information and to book your place, visit: www.argyll.uhi.ac.uk/openday

If you can’t see what you’re looking for, please feel free to drop in to your local centre on the day to chat with one of our team.
