Group Marketing Manager
Wyvex Media, publishers of numerous newspaper and magazine titles including the Oban Times and Scottish Field magazine, have an exciting opportunity for a Group Marketing Manager to market our portfolio of print and digital publications, products and services.
Jobs Summary
The Group Marketing Manager will have full responsibility for promoting our content to grow audiences, increase online subscriptions and registrations, increase awareness of our brands and our growing digital portfolio as well as expanding e-commerce opportunities.
Responsibilities
• To develop a marketing strategy for our portfolio of publications with a focus on growing subscriptions and registrations
• To work with internal stakeholders to develop a social media strategy that grows an engaged audience and promotes brand awareness
• To develop a marketing plan to encourage downloads of our apps
• To develop a marketing plan to encourage sales via e-commerce
• To identify and implement data collection strategies
• To support our commercial teams by producing media packs and sales literature
• To work with editorial teams to identify and promote compelling content
The Right Person
You should currently hold a responsible marketing role and ideally have some publishing experience. You should be a confident and articulate self-starter, brimming with ideas and be ready to make the move into a more senior role where you will have the freedom to develop and implement your own strategies. You must be commercially aware and able to demonstrate not only creativity but concrete and measurable results. Face to face meetings with staff and clients will be required so a full driving licence is essential.
