MATERIALS

A small board or canvas suitable for oil painting.

Oil paints: titanium white, burnt sienna, ultramarine blue.

A palette knife with a long blade for mixing; a palette; a dilutant, eg turpentine, Sansodor, Zest-it; a medium, eg linseed oil or Liquin.

Brushes: A mix of synthetic rounds and filberts from the Shiraz and Ivory ranges from Rosemary & Co. I used a fine rigger to establish the object and main angles, then continued with a variety of rounds and filberts
