SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS

This year the Society of Women Artists’ 160th annual exhibition will take place online, from September 21, heralding a new international flavour as artists from further afield are able to participate in the exhibition, such as Svetlana Kornilova, a young Russian artist, living and working in Moscow. Svetlana is a member of the Union of Russian Artists and the Union of Moscow Artists and has shown work in both the RP and SWA annual exhibitions in 2020 at the Mall Galleries. She takes inspiration from home as well as from her travels and feels that art is ‘meant to make life better, brighter and more beautiful’.
