STAGE SEVEN

Having worked back over the whole painting with the dry brush technique, I moved onto the immediate foreground, painting the tree in with a brush whilst trying not to lose my ‘out and about’ words, and drawing in the gate and posts with the edge of card dipped in fluid paint. I then added some texture to ‘bed’ the posts in – using the edge of the board to print fine marks
