The Way We See It
Sarah Manolescue & Georgina Potter
Friends and en-plein-air painters, Sarah Manolescue and Georgina Potter have joined forces for their London exhibition, The Way We See It, which, they say is ‘a celebration of light and colour’. Eighty oil paintings, many of them produced outside in the landscape, will feature coastal and landscape scenes. ‘We are very much inspired by the same subjects’, explains Georgina. ‘What’s interesting is how different our take is on the same view.’ Working from her Wiltshire studio, Georgina takes studies made from life, exploring the subject further on much larger canvases, while Sarah paints on a smaller scale, often intimate interiors and still lives. The Way We See It can be seen at 340 Kings Road, Chelsea SW3 5UR, from October 1 to 6, 10am to 5pm daily; closing at 12pm on the final day.
