OPEN STUDIOS
• The Norfolk Open Studios return in 2021 for 16 days in September and October. More than 320 artists will be taking part across 267 venues. Norfolk Open Studios administrator, Ros Dixon writes: ‘We can’t wait to be back in the studios, smelling the paint and kilns, getting to ask those questions we’ve always wanted to know from the artists themselves and maybe even having a go at creating something ourselves. And the chance to buy art direct from the artist is very special.’ This year the scheme welcomes 23 schools to the event as well as 13 Art Trails, allowing visitors to enjoy several studios in one day. • The Somerset Open Studios, from September 18 to October 3, feature work by more than 300 artists working in a range of media and techniques. An accompanying events programme includes demonstrations, workshops, talks, films and visiting residencies. Visit www.somersetartworks.org.uk
• The Surrey Open Studios are running in partnership with Farnham Craft Month and the Mole Valley Arts Alive Festival, from October 1 to 24.
