Dahlias and Paint Water, oil on primed watercolour paper 300gsm, 14 11in (35.5 28cm). Finally I put some cooler and warmer pinks within the large pink flower and some lighter value oranges on the round flower heads, plus a few highlights on some of the shiny objects. I decided to leave it there although this painting could be used as the starting point for a more abstract piece
