FINISHED PAINTING

Dancing Landscape, mixed media on canvas, 113/43113/4in (30330cm). I continued to refine small marks and colours using acrylics and acrylic ink, adding in stronger purples and pinks in the hills and trees, and then drawing into the pencil lines I had made with dark green acrylic inks to describe the branches and trunks of the trees. To finish I added little marks of a very bright fluorescent pink with a Posca acrylic marker. These were, of course, imaginary but I felt they lifted the painting and added a sparkle to the finished piece – and it is a little signature of my own!
