STAGE THREE
I continued to develop the reflections using the same colours, with primary blue and black introduced for the hull of the boat and its muted reflections. I continued to work very loosely, allowing the black ground to help create the shapes. I also dragged and dry brushed some of the paint over the black ground to produce texture and variety. With the ground colour showing through the dragged paint, a variety of tones was achieved from one colour mix without the need to mix a second colour
