Young at heart
Having received my copy of TA (April issue) in the post today and doing what I usually like to do (read your welcome letter first then have a skim through the rest of the magazine), I was pleasantly surprised to see that you published my submission as the Star Letter! Thank you. Having read the other views sent in I feel humbled that my view was the highlighted one last month.
It was interesting to read in your welcome letter that it is now scientifically proven that being creative delays the ageing process. How wonderful! Even more reason to indulge our inner child and pursue a passion, with purpose, that brings happiness not only to us, but also (hopefully) to anyone else that sees our creative endeavours too. And without their even knowing it, we're doing them a favour by helping to keep them younger for longer.
I also realised after reading your welcome letter that even though in the past I was working full time as a PA and didn't think of myself as an artist, seeking out creativity in various ways was always part of my life. I love that art is my life!
