DEMONSTRATION

Narodni Divadlo translates as the National Theatre. It is built on the bank of the river Vltava and paid for exclusively by public donations. Smetana’s opera Libuse was world premiered there. The view, with its musical connotations, makes for a very evocative subject. I drew this view one windy autumn day with trees whipping and leaves tossed about among the gulls. The whole view was as inspiring as Smetana’s music.
