STAGE EIGHT

To finish I flicked some black ink upwards from the canal bank on the right to add more interest and another plane between the water and the field. The sunlit fields and grass along the canal bank were a mix of lemon yellow and white oil paint with cold wax. I only used this mix for the sunlit grass to ensure it was easily read and I dabbed it between the thin trunks on the right to give the feeling that the sunlit field can just be seen continuing up the hill behind
