Hilary Adair
was born in West Sussex and studied Fine Art at St. Martin’s School of Art, London and Printmaking at Brighton College of Art. In 1966 she set up a printmaking department at Stoke-on-Trent College of Art. With a love of travel, Hilary left England in 1971 and from her studio in Athens, she became stimulated by the fun-filled foreign environment. Hilary has frequented Greece ever since. Hilary has also taught at West Surrey College of Art, Winchester College of Art and further education classes. Now settled in West Somerset, her paintings and prints have been exhibited widely and are in many public and private collections.
