WHILE WE SEE SOME INITIATIVES

on the front of informal financial products, I believe the strategy should be on how to make the formal financial system more inclusive. Unfortunately, what we see now is that, due to regulations, banks exclude people based on the lack of proper ID. We need to allow for greater flexibility with regards to customers. Principles and regulation are important, but we need to attend the reality of our society if we want to bridge the gap of inclusion.
