Carvalho Madivate is the General Director of ISCTEM. He started his academic career at UEM in 1982. In 2007, he started working for ISCTEM as a part-time lecturer and then joined it as a full-time lecturer in 2019. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM), a master’s degree in analytical chemistry from the Technical University Leuna-Merseburg, and a PhD in glass and ceramics from the Technical University Aachen (1996).
