Jebi K. John MANAGING DIRECTOR, QATAR TEC
How do you plan to specifically support and accompany Qatari SMEs in their expansion activities?
Qatar Tec is thriving in Qatar thanks to the continuous support we are providing to the country’s SME sector with governmental projects including the high-profile 2020 micro, small, and medium initiatives underway. Qatar Tec is also closely engaged with its client organizations to monitor the guidelines set by the International Council for Small Businesses, a forum considered to be a key platform to address how SMEs can be empowered. We are also closely reviewing the possibility of reaching Qatar Development Bank with extensive range of services and products aimed at SMEs’ empowerment, particularly after siege countries imposed an unjust blockade on the state of Qatar. Moreover, Qatar Tec accelerated its activities and coordination with various non-governmental agencies to mobilize technically skilled teams with the aim to help achieving self-sufficiency in several essential projects led by SMEs.
How do you collaborate with each client to perfectly adapt to their staffing needs, and what sectors pose the greatest challenge in terms of technical requirements?
Qatar Tec is accredited with international certifications and is locally registered under Qatari law. The team members in the corporate office are professionally qualified to support the day-to-day requirements of our clients. Our planning department consists of various technical experts carefully reviewing job competencies prior to deploying any candidates to client locations to support the job. Prior to mobilizing any candidates, their job competency assessment will be carried out by the professional in-house team of Qatar Tec with the additional technical support of our clients.
