You have got to be flipping stupid, pal!
SHOCK AT COUNTRY LANE CRASH
THIS is the heart-stopping moment a brazen driver almost flips his car passing another vehicle on a narrow country lane.
Simon Spowart was driving along Spen Lane towards School Lane in High Spen, Rowlands Gill, when he spotted a red car approaching on the narrow country lane shortly after 6pm. He came to a stop as he planned to negotiate passing the other driver.
But nothing could have prepared Simon for what followed. He said: “I came to a stop as the road isn’t wide enough for two cars, but he just continued on. “The road has steep banks on either side as it’s set into woodland, and he just kept going without slowing down. “I saw his car was at quite a severe angle, and as he drove alongside past it left the ground and tipped over into mine. “The roof scraped along the side

of my car, and he came to a stop on his side.”
Simon, 33, and his two passengers got out to tip the red car back on to four wheels after the drive climbed to safety through the passenger window.
The civil servant, who is from High Spen, added: “The damage was mainly scratching from the driver’s door all along the side, and on the alloys as well, plus a big dent in both driver’s side doors.
“The driver seemed a little dazed but was fine, he didn’t really say much. I think he was just a bit stunned by what had happened.”
A Northumbria Police spokesman said it is investigating.
