Three-goal Joe puts Bes foot forward

KILLINGWOR­TH YPC maintained their free-scoring lead at the top when they romped to a 7-0 home win over title hopefuls Wallsend Boys Club.

Joe Besford led the way with a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by a brace from Connor Lamb and one apiece from Martin Roper and Robert Nolan.

Felling Magpies kept pace with a 2-0 home success over Forest Hall secured with a second-half brace from Ryan Everington.

Hexham took care of visitors Hebburn Reyrolle, Tom Hacking netting in a 4-1 victory.

Bradley Lowes and Will Forsyth also notched, Reyrolle replying through Sean Flood.

Red Row Welfare notched four times without reply in their home win over Gosforth Bohemians, all the counters in the second half through Jonathyn Quinn, Luke Baston, David Stobbart and Ashley Lally.
