STRIKE BACK: VENGEANCE Sky1 9pm
IT’S series six of this high-octane thriller, but it’s an all new team, location, and bad guy (and girl).
One thing definitely hasn’t changed though – there will be lots of tough guys with guns blowing stuff up. The maverick soldier heading things is Sergeant McAllister (played by Luther star Warren Brown). He’s the one bringing the Vengeance in the title, after terrorist supremo Omair Idrisi killed all his squad.
But it wasn’t just Idrisi behind the plan – or the horrific atrocities he’s carried out on the West.
He’s being ably supported by his British wife Jane Lowry (played by a seriously evil and brunette Katherine Kelly, pictured with Don Hany who plays Idris).
McAllister gets recruited by Colonel Adeena Donovan (Nina Sosanya), for a mission that will take them across Europe and the Middle East, and uncover dark secrets from British military intelligence history.
CELEBRITY HUNTED Channel4, 9.15pm
THERE are only two pairs of fugitives left now: Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews from Made In Chelsea, pictured right, and former boyband members Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran (who are, literally, The Wanted men – geddit?). And they’ve been tackling being on the run in very different ways.
The posh boys have been using their wealthy connections to whizz around on speedboats, and playing on their fame to get fans to help (and also get free sunbed sessions. Yes, really. Even a man on the run still has to have a healthy glow).
Whereas Jay and Siva have been trying to keep as low a profile as possible, donning unattractive disguises, hitchhiking and walking.
The end – making it safely to their extraction point and beating those wily hunters – is now in sight. But with paranoia building, and the public keen to claim a cash reward, will either pair make it?
Prepare for a tense finale.

DR CHRISTIAN JESSEN is back for a second series of the show that offers patients a once in a lifetime consultation with him and his team of experts to really try and solve the problems that plague their lives. Those in the consulting room tonight include a young couple desperate to overcome fertility problems, a mum of three who has been severely underweight all her life, and a woman with Tourette’s syndrome whose relentless tics are taking their toll on her relationship. In association with W
