Hendo double puts Town six points in clear

MORPETH Town extended their lead at the top of the Division One table with a 3-1 home win against Ryhope CW.

Liam Henderson scored twice and Mark Davison added the other goal as the Highwaymen moved six points clear of Marske United.

Shildon remain in third after a comfortabl­e 3-0 home victory against Stockton Town.

Railwaymen player-manager Daniel Moore gave his side an early lead and that was added to by goals from Matty Robson and Lewis Dodds.
