Fire-hit station open

COMMUTERS can expect normal service to resume at Nottingham station today, three days after a suspected arson attack caused significant damage.

A full timetable is planned for all routes following a huge blaze at the railway station on Friday.

East Midlands Trains said Sunday services had been operating well. All platforms have reopened but the station’s ticket office, which was badly damaged, remains closed.
