THE final of the Chroniclel­ive Under-19 Cup will be staged at Newcastle’s Cochrane Park on Wednesday, April 25 (6.00).

The finalists are not yet known with the semi-finals yet to be completed due to the weather.

Watch out for a picture special on the final in Grassroots Sport. ■■NEW Hartley moved into second place in the Durham FA Under-18 League after inflicting a 2-1 defeat on leaders Stockton.

The Teessiders took the lead after a mix-up in the Hartley defence but an equaliser came when Sam Dinsley scored from 25 yards - his first for the club.

On 88 minutes Hartley sealed victory through Connor Walker. ■■THE semi-finals of the Goals Newcastle NFA Colts Cup for under-14 sides are scheduled to be played tomorrow. Ties (both 1.30) are Whitley Bay SC Whites v Wallsend BC Yellows and Newcastle City Milan v Montagu and North Fenham Blues. ■■THE Shiremoor Press NFA Under-13 Cup has reached the last-four stage.

Tomorrow, Heaton Hawks face Montagu and North Fenham Blues and Newcastle City take on Cramlingto­n Juniors Reds. Both games kick off at 1.30. ■■NEWCASTLE University’s Longbenton Sports Ground is the scene for the Under-11 Girls Inter Associatio­n League programme on Tuesday (4.15).

Newcastle and North Tyneside will both be looking to keep their unbeaten records going. ■■THE Under-11 Duffy League resumes on Wednesday after the postponeme­nt of fixtures last week due to the weather.

These are the last matches of the season and it looks as though the title is between Hilton and St John Vianney.

They are both unbeaten - and they play each other in their last fixture. ■■THE Football Associatio­n’s SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres provide girls aged five to 11 across North Tyneside with regular opportunit­ies to play football.

The initiative offers organised coaching sessions in a fun environmen­t exclusivel­y for girls.

Sessions will be run by North Shields Juniors/TyneMet College (at John Spence High School, Fridays), Wallsend Boys Club (Kirkley Park, Thursdays), West Allotment FC (Waterville Primary School, Sundays) and Whitley Bay FC (Foxhunters Playing Fields, Mondays).
