Success is at Stake as Eagles swoop to land Premiershi­p title

RED House Farm Eagles secured the Under-12 Premiershi­p title with a 4-0 victory at Stakeford Juniors.

In Division One, a mid-table affair between Wallsend Boys Club Greens and Cramlingto­n Juniors Whites ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

Division Two champions Newcastle East End Blues ran out winners over Grainger Park Lions, who also defeated Ponteland United CSKA 2-1.

Walker Central Blues prevailed 5-0 at Cramlingto­n Town Yellows.

Throckley Magpies secured the title in what was supposed to be a close contest against second-placed Sunderland Athletic. A win for the visitors would have seen them draw level on points with Throckley - but instead the champions ran out 6-0 victors.

Third-placed Red House Farm Kites triumphed 2-1 at Forest Hall Magpies thanks to goals from Matthew Armstrong and Josh Black.

In Division Four, counters from Zak Dixon, Jack Danielson and Jack McGowan helped Blyth Rangers Valencia to a 3-1 win at Monkseaton Juniors. Champions North Shields Reds completed an unbeaten league campaign with a 3-0 success over North Shields Blacks.

Division Five champions Whitley Bay Sporting Club Yellows suffered a shock 4-2 defeat to mid-table North Shields Juniors Whites while Ashington Town Titans overcame Ponteland United Dynamos.

In Division Six there was a big victory for Newcastle Westgate over West Denton and a six-goal draw between Newbiggin Juniors and Cramlingto­n Town Wildcats.

In the only game in Division Seven, a Maddox Fuller brace contribute­d to a 5-2 verdict for Seaton Delaval Dynamos over Cramlingto­n Town Blues. ■■MICHAEL Johnstone netted five times in Cramlingto­n Juniors Reds’ emphatic victory over Cramlingto­n United Thundercat­s in the Under-13 Premiershi­p. Seaton Delval Dynamos and Grainger Park finished 4-4.
