MAKE-UP fans rejoice, as the world’s fastest-growing cosmetics company will open at intu Metrocentre this weekend.

Inglot Cosmetics will be opening a concession in Next, situated in the Metrocentre’s Green Mall, tomorrow. The 400sq ft store will showcase the very best of the colourful brand and will include five make-up stations where shoppers can revamp their make-up bags with the extensive range of stylish beauty buys. From dramatic pure pigment eye shadows and HD matte lip tints to breathable nail enamel and camouflage concealer, Inglot Cosmetics is promising everything a budding beauty aficionado could need. FREE karaoke and ‘bottomless beer’ will be on the menu at Newcastle ‘s Antler bar, which is going all-out to celebrate Oktoberfest.

The Alpine-theme venue will be encompassing all the delights of Bavaria when it hosts its own take on the famous German beer festival.

And, besides the likes of steins and sausages, there will be a VIP option available for groups of four or more who might want to fully immerse themselves in the festival mood.

For £60 a head, customers can reserve a table, enjoy bottomless beer, a selection of Bavarian sharing platters and nibbles as well as free use of the karaoke room.

The bar-restaurant, at Newcastle’s 55 Degrees North, will be laying a whole programme of entertainment between September 22 and October 30 to celebrate Oktoberfest.

It will be serving beer in traditional stein glasses and cooking up authentic Bavarian dishes daily from noon.

And, every Friday and Saturday of Oktoberfest, it will be organising live music and on-stage entertainment from 2pm as well as eating competitions for those with a strong stomach.

Bar owner Gary Hutchinson said: “Oktoberfest is famous all around the world and if you’re in Newcastle, then what better place to celebrate it than an alpine-themed bar?

“We have worked hard to pull together a really fun programme of entertainment to evoke the true spirit of the festival.”

To cater for all tastes, the bar also will be promoting its cocktail menu and showing live sports on big screen.

Customers are being advised to book in advance and, besides the VIP option, a table can be booked during Oktoberfest for £10 per person, which includes a pint of Krusovice or Moretti and a Currywurst hot dog sausage.
