Get ready to go Insania for tour

- BY SIMON DUKE

GET ready to feel really old as Peter Andre is hitting the road to celebrate 25 years in the music industry.

Following his breakthrough in Australia which saw his second single Gimme Little Sign peak at number three in the charts Down Under, Peter embarked on a music career in the UK with Only One hitting the top 20 before Mysterious Girl reached number 2 in the summer of 1996, seeing his profile sky rocket.

He then went one better with Flava and then again with I Feel You, which were both taken from his hit album Natural.

During the peak of his music fame in the 90s, Peter toured all over the world collecting a multitude of national and international accolades along the way.

And then came his stint on I’m A Celebrity in 2004 which led to the chart-topping re-release of Mysterious Girl and Insania.

During his 25 years in the spotlight, Peter has showcased his diverse musical talent, releasing 12 different albums, all with a unique twist.

2014 saw the singer songwriter release a brand new sound to add to his collection, with the debut of his swing album Big Night followed in 2015 with Come Fly With Me.

He will be at Newcastle City Hall on Thursday, February 14 – Valentine’s Day!

Peter said: “This tour has been a long time in the making and I can’t wait to get back out on stage in front of the fans in Newcastle that have supported me over the last 25 years.

“I’m blessed to have had such a great career in entertainment for that time – it is something really special, and this tour will be a celebration of everything I have worked for.”

Peter was last in the North East to perform at Kubix Festival, alongside B&Witched, East 17 and Ronan Keating.

The Celebrating 25 Years tour will see Peter encompass his musical journey through the years, performing his best loved hits from his early years to his most recent tracks that have reignited the hearts of the nation.
