Daisy Hill East End triumphed 6-2 at Hillheads, Paul Bell, Abu Salim and Johnathan Wright each netting twice.

In B Division, Westend United again suffered a heavy defeat losing 10-0 at Fawdon Park - Lee Johnson notching five times.

Jack Johnson claimed both counters for High Howdon Social in the 2-1 victory at Butchers Arms.

St Peters Social defeated The Jubilee 3-1 and Fosse lost 6-0 at Heaton Meadowfiel­d

Ben Wright struck the only goal for FRG to give them victory over Barking Dog in C Division.

Scotswood Social also defeated Balloon by the same score.

Marlboroug­h Social prevailed 5-3 at the Alexandra, Peter Williams and Jason Keenan both notching twice for Marlboroug­h.

Chris Quine bagged a brace for The Alexandra while Blakelaw Social came through 3-2 at Fox and Hounds.

■■A GOAL from top scorer Dan Walker proved the difference as Consett Sunday League Division One leaders Consett Scotch Arms edged out Consett Top Club.

His strike was the only goal of the game as champions Scotch extended their lead at the top.

Winlaton Real Vulcan extended their 100% record in Division Two courtesy of a hat-trick from Darren Heath and a double from Owen Fox. They beat Castleside Horse and Groom 5-2.
