Get ready for a Sage Cave-in
NICK Cave is set to perform in Gateshead when the rocker brings his ‘Conversations’ tour to the UK.
The tour sees Cave play a selection of his hits on piano and take questions from fans in between songs.
The 61–year–old Bad Seeds frontman sold out his ‘Conversations’ run through New Zealand and his native Australia, and has now announced he is bringing the show to Europe.
Cave calls the tour “an exercise in connectivity,” adding: “I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable in the recent live shows we have all shown a kind of willingness to open up.”
The Q&A is “unfiltered, unscripted and unmoderated”.
The tour calls at Sage Gateshead on Saturday, May 23. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday. To buy tickets, head to Sage Gateshead’s ticketing website.
