Bohemians prove they are up for the Challenge

-

GOSFORTH Bohemian Reserves became the first team into the Tyneside Amateur Challenge Shield final after seeing off Wideopen A 3-2.

A brace from David Hodgson and one counter for Liam Redhead were enough for Bohs despite efforts from Jonny Marshall and Craig Cook for Wideopen. In the league, Red House Farm came away from Swalwell with an impressive victory as Juan Valbuena netted the only goal of the game.

There was only a single counter in the clash between West Jesmond and Morpeth - Jack Freeman the man on target.

A goal in each half steered Haltwhistle Jubilee past Wallsend Boys Club Development.

Kieran Robley struck before the break and Jack Barker doubled their advantage after the interval.
