Cummings and PM not above rules

-

THE UK government sent me and everybody else in the country a leaflet about coronavirus: “CORONAVIRUS/ STAY AT HOME/PROTECT THE NHS/SAVE LIVES”.

Inside, it stated: “The single most important action you can take is to stay at home in order to protect the NHS and save lives.”

It seems as though some people in Downing Street have not come across the leaflet, so I have just posted my copy to D.Cummings, writing: “The enclosed came through our letterbox a while ago. From what I read in the papers, it seems clear to me that you can’t have seen the instructions it contains. I recommend that you read it and always follow what it tells us all to do.”

I hope that Cummings and his employer will in future not think themselves above the rules which the rest of us obey.
