DRESSED IMPRESS TO

WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?

IT WAS a Covid-safe, socially distanced affair, but not even a global pandemic could hold back the glamour at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The ceremony should have taken place in April but the stars finally got their hands on the awards more than five months later in a ceremony hosted by singer Kelly Clarkson.

Teenager Billie Eilish and Post Malone were the night’s big winners in terms of awards, while on the red carpet the guests were clearly relishing the chance to get dressed up to the nines.

Billie, 18, stuck to her tried and tested formula of top-to-toe Gucci, complete with matching face mask.

The event also saw an appearance from former paparazzi magnet Nicole Richie. The 39-year-old presented an award on the night and looked stunning in a barely-there black creation from American designer Christian Siriano.

Also wearing a Siriano number, was Lizzo. Recipient of the gong for Top Song Sales Artist, the trailblazing 32-year-old donned a black and white mini dress emblazoned with the slogan ‘vote’, a direct appeal to get Americans out to the ballot box for next month’s presidential election.

Talk about getting your message across.
