MORE madness is in store as comedians compete in idiotic challenges to please the magnificent overlord that is the Taskmaster – aka Greg Davies.
“I have an absurd amount of power,” he says, before scolding sidekick Alex Horne for calling him “dude”.
Greg’s job is to award (or deduct) points for the efforts of Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring, as they battle it out to win Greg’s magnificent golden bonce.
The personal possession round sees them bring in the ‘best thing with loads of holes in it’. A ludicrous team task sees Johnny yell random stuff from an umpire chair, while the others hunt for treasure. Then they must make the best portrait of the Taskmaster, using only balloons, pegs and their own clothes. There is some flailing around in dinghies on wheels, then some guessing of sounds followed by trying to tame a wind-up dinosaur.
No one ever said you should expect it to make any sense…
