NEW Hartley progressed in the Durham County Cup with a 5-0 victory over Benfield.
Hartley were 2-0 up at the interval, both goals from their skipper and left-back Jonathan Chrisp.
The second period was only two minutes old when the home side went 3-0 up thanks to Jay Bell.
The game was finally put out of Benfield’s reach when Dan Flude made it 4-0.
Substitute Dylan Adams completed the scoring in the dying minutes.
New Hartley will travel to Hebburn Town in the next round.
