MURDERED Brandon Lee’s mum is an ‘evil’ killer who is currently serving a sentence for stabbing her long-suffering partner to death.

One year ago, Nicola Lee was found guilty of the manslaughter of Paul Taylor, having subjected him and other former partners to domestic violence.

It was on October 21 last year that Lee was found guilty and now the savage who murdered her son has also been convicted – in the same courtroom at Newcastle Crown Court.

Ross Miller, 23, of Victoria Road, South Shields, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 19 years after leaving Mr Lee 24, from Jarrow, with more than 100 injuries, including 60 inflicted with a blade.

Mr Lee’s mother was just months into her 14-year sentence when she was delivered the devastating news that her own son had been murdered on May 12. The killer, who had already subjected Mr Taylor and other previous partners to serious acts of domestic violence, was described by an exneighbour as “venomous and dangerous”.

When she became embroiled in yet another drunken row with 45-year-old Mr Taylor at her home on March 31 last year, it was not the first time she had armed herself with a knife.

A neighbour heard her repeatedly threatening to kill the dad before it went quiet after she finally carried out the threat and plunged a knife through his heart.

Lee had told jurors Mr Taylor stabbed himself at her flat in Jarrow but jurors rejected her account and found her guilty of manslaughter, clearing her of murder.

The 44-year-old killer, of Thames Avenue, Jarrow, was jailed for 14 years. During her trial, prosecutors said Lee had a “propensity to be violent”. And a former neighbour told the court she was “evil, vile, aggressive and hateful”.
