All are welcome for a better view of lights

-

SINCE the Christmas lights at Daft as a Brush House were switched on by Mr Len Gibson BEM and Mrs Anne Dawson recently, the interest in seeing the Christmas lights, albeit from the Great North Road, by families with small children has been immense.

Once the charity’s offices close on an evening and there is no traffic movement, starting in December from 5.30pm to 7.30pm (subject to social distancing rules being observed), families that would like to get a better view and take photographs are more than welcome to wander the grounds; there will be two on-site volunteer guides on hand to show people around and give away festive stickers.

Look forward to seeing you and a merry Christmas.
