Cunard is ofering new no-fly short breaks in 2022. The upscale line will offer four-night voyages on Queen Victoria, sailing from Southampton over a weekend to visit the likes of amsterdam, rotterdam and St Peter Port, Guernsey, from £549 per person.
Cunard’s newly released 2022 programme of 162 itineraries also includes alaska voyages aboard Queen Elizabeth, starting and finishing in Vancouver on the Pacific coast, from £1,399 per person for 10 nights, cruise only.
Meanwhile, besides transatlantic crossings to new York, flagship Queen Mary 2 will head to 71°n to visit norway’s north Cape for the first time. The world’s only ocean liner will spend three days in Tromso, with the chance to seek the northern Lights. norway no-fly trips from £999 per person.
Like most of the cruise industry, Cunard’s ships are idle because of the pandemic. Boss Simon Palethorpe said: “There has been high demand for our 2021 voyages so we know how much our guests are anticipating travelling again.” (cunard.com)

Two new attractions have opened at abu dhabi’s Ferrari world to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The roof walk lets visitors get on the famous red roof – visible from space – to take in views across Yas Island, the F1 track and Yas Marina.
