Tories must get their own house in order

I READ with interest that North Durham Tory MP Richard Holden was recently fined £100 for dropping a cigarette butt outside an election count on polling day.

It is perhaps indicative in its small way of his lack of concern for the environment in which we all live.

Can I therefore suggest that the Newcastle Conservatives who recently campaigned on the slogan of “Lazy Labour” might wish to reflect on this behaviour and perhaps get their own house in order before seeking to point the finger of criticism at others.
