It’s a three for all

IF you couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now?... you’re about to find out.

This is the new hugely-anticipated reboot of ground-breaking series Sex And The City, which ran from 1998 for six seasons, followed by a couple of movies.

Now the hit comedy drama returns with a 10-episode season and most of its original cast.

Yes, the rumours are true that Samantha (played by Kim Cattrall) is not returning after a reported feud with the rest of the cast.

But Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) are all back to navigate the complicated reality of life and friendship in New York in their 50s.

A trailer reveals that to some extent nothing changes… there is fabulous fashion, plenty of navelgazing, talk of dating and sex, and a continuing love affair with New York City and Manolo Blahniks.

It also seems that Carrie is still with Mr Big (Chris Noth), and we see Charlotte’s husband Harry (Evan Handler) as well as Miranda’s partner Steve (David Eigenberg).

Sara Ramirez joins the cast as Che Diaz, a non-binary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast that Carrie regularly appears on.

And watch out for the late Willie Garson, who passed away in September, in his final scenes as Stanford Blatch, as well as Mario Cantone as his husband Anthony.

Carrie says: “The more I live, the more I find that if you have good friends in your corner, anything is possible.”

The nostalgia all kicks off with a double bill.
